We have paired the Ancient City Classic tour and the Vatican City Classic tour in one day adding also the spectacular tour of the Pantheon along the way!

Our tour guides are local, licensed and qualified experts in art, history and archaeology plus they know how to engage kids and families!

They will stay with you from the morning to the afternoon guiding you through the most important sites in Rome and Vatican city.
You will cover the mighty Colosseum, the impressive remains of the Roman Forum, the stunning Pantheon dome and the breathtaking Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums in just one day in Rome.

You’ll take a taxi from one location to another and have a short lunch break, maybe tasting a slice of pizza like we Romans do. By the end of the day you’ll have learned everything that happened in Rome over more than 12 Centuries of history.

This tour is only for PRIVATE GROUPS and is tailored to your needs and requests, your guide will spend the day with you help you with transportation, tickets and inspiring “things to do”.

Recommended for “cruise ships excursions”.

Sites included in the tour:
Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums (gallery of the candelabra, gallery of the tapestries, gallery of maps), Pantheon, Trevi, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.

IMPORTANT: Please, please consider that St. Peter’s is a church and that there may be changes in opening and closing times according to last minute religious celebrations.
In the case that it will not be possible to visit the Church, you will visit extra areas of the Vatican museums, such as Raphael Rooms.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Your guide will be LICENSED and specialized in ROMAN HISTORY.
Entry tickets, transportation and lunch are NOT included in the tour guide fees.
Buy the tickets by yourself: The online procedure is very easy and you can save money doing it on your own.
After paying the deposit to secure the tour, we will send you instructions step by steps of the online booking procedure to get your entry tickets for both venues.
Colosseum Tickets:
ADULTS: 18 euros (12 euros + 2 euros for the reservation fee).
CHILDREN under 18 y.o. : FREE (just the 2 euros skip the line reservation fee).
Vatican tickets:
ADULTS: 21 euros (17 euros + 4 euros for the skip the line reservation fee).
CHILDREN under 18 yo or STUDENTS up to 26: 12 euros (8 euros + 4 euros for skip the line the reservation fee).

PRICES: the tour guide fees must be considered as a total not per person

Starting price for a private tour 2,5 hrs for 2 adults: 350 euro + tickets but definitive price is provided *only* upon request.
Price can be reduced during low season or increased during holiday, peak dates or last minute request.

For group larger than four, price will be provided upon request.
