Where does the twilight tour starts and which are the sites you’ll see?

We will start the Twilight Rome walking tour with a glimpse of the real Rome: PIAZZA NAVONA – the largest of the XVII Century squares -“Piazze” in Italian.

Here you will admire Bernini’s baroque masterpiece: the FOUNTAIN OF THE FOUR RIVERS. Piazza Navona is also where you can find street artists and painters but above all…it’s here that you can get one of the best Gelato in Rome, promise!

The vibrant square will be showed at its best in the relaxed afternoon atmosphere, Walking a few blocks further along you’ll then discover the palace of the SENATE of Rome with the famous lions heads at the windows…

After this our favorite stop of the sunset city stroll in Rome is …The mighty Pantheon!* You will enter the temple and feel as though you walk on air! This magnificent temple to all gods became a Church in the VII Century … You might not be able to believe how well preserved and how large the dome is …did you know it was build in one solid piece? Look up through the hole in the dome’s centre, did you know Romans believe that no drops of water will not fall inside… even if it rains!

The next stop on our twilight walking tour through this enchanting heart of Rome will wind and weave through the narrow alleys to surprise you with – the TREVI FOUNTAIN…be ready with your coin! You will understand the meaning of the song and we’ll make sure you come back to Rome someday by having you throw a coin into the fountain but…make sure you’re not looking to see where it lands!

Where does the Twilight Rome walking tour end?

We will then take the short walk to the SPANISH STEPS, the last stop on our walking tour and the last view the Romantic poet John Keats saw before dying in 1821. This is, above all, one of the most beautiful squares in the city! it’s hard to believe that some centuries ago this was a place where wealthy refused to visit here and broke artists once lived!

What more could you ask?! Maybe a glass of wine? Well.. You are right! We’ll toast together with a glass of wine at the end of the tour if you like!

You’ll be in a PRIVATE tour.
Your guide will be LICENSED and specialized in ROMAN ART and HISTORY.
No tickets are needed for this tour (the entrance to the Pantheon is free of charge).

*If you have a party of 9 or more please contact us to arrange your private tour.

PRICES: The fees must be considered as a total, not per person.

From June to October: an extra fee of 15% will be added on top of the price for every last minute request (since 3 days before the date requested for the tour).

We don’t run small groups.

We can accommodate time/day request according to our guides’ and entry tickets availability.

Final and detailed price will be provided after receiving your request from the contact form.

Starting price for a private tour 2,5 hrs for 2 adults: 350 euro + tickets but definitive price is provided *only* upon request.
Price can be reduced during low season or increased during holiday, peak dates or last minute request.

For group larger than four, price will be provided upon request.
