Where does the highlights of Rome tour starts and which sites will you see?

Then, a few blocks far, you’ll discover that Michelangelo’s genius created the beautiful Palazzo Farnese and from here we will walk to PIAZZA NAVONA, the largest of the XVII Century squares -“Piazze” in Italian. Here you will admire Bernini’s baroque masterpiece: the FOUNTAIN OF THE FOUR RIVERS*. Piazza Navona is also the place where you can find street artists and painters but, above all…it’s here that you can get one of the best Gelato in Rome, promised!

After this, our favourite stop of the Highlights of Rome walking Tour… The mighty Pantheon!* . You will enter the temple with your guide and you’ll feel you walk on air! The magnificent temple of all Gods turned into a Church in the VII Century … You won’t probably believe how well-preserved, how big the dome is and… just made of one solid piece! In case it rains you can try to see if any drop falls inside: there’s a hole in the center of the dome, but romans do believe the water will not fall inside… even if it rains!

In these cases, your guide will tell you all about the Pantheon from the outside, and then you’ll go inside to explore at your own pace before meeting up again with your guide afterwards. If this arrangement applies to your tour, you will be informed at the time of booking.

** THE TREVI FOUNTAIN: a temporary walkway allows the visitors to access the fountain. The access is limited and monitored, therefore it is possible there will be lines to be able to see the monument during the restoration.

Starting price for a private tour 2,5 hrs for 2 adults: 390 euro + tickets but definitive price is provided *only* upon request.
Price can be reduced during low season or increased during holiday, peak dates or last minute request.

For group larger than four, price will be provided upon request.
